Fred's Ginger is a Sydney-based act. Solo, Duo or Trio - featuring male and female vocals, acoustic guitar, keyboard, and percussion. You'll hear a wide-ranging repertoire and occasional genre-hop, playing classic songs from the 1950s to 70s with a peppering of traditional tunes. Fred's Ginger delivers great depth and layers in their performance which brings a fun atmosphere with abundant opportunities to dance and sing along too. Solo - Gene Mitchell on Acoustic Guitar + Vocals - has been performing as a singer for over 2 decades. His favourite artist is Paul McCartney, and he is most at peace while swimming in the ocean.
Duo - add John Sandow on Keyboards. John has worked with many diverse bands and artists, and brings this experience to the Aged Care concerts while tickling the ivories on everything from jazz standards to world music. When not making music, John loves to saunter along Bondi Beach with his family.
Trio - add Leyne Elbourne on Vocals + Percussion, whose musical journey began as a drummer, playing from the age of 8 lead her to work within the music industry for several years booking live shows and managing bands and has stepped back into the spotlight due to a love of singing, performing and making people smile.

Cancellation day before/24 hours notice: 50% fee charge.
